Conical Rosettes

We also offer conical rosette supplies, which are readily available from stock.

Over several years we have experimented with lots of ways to make conical rosettes, including polystyrene, drinking cup bottoms, cast resin, and shapes made on a wooden lathe.  All work to a certain extent, but each suffers from being very fiddly to assemble, and not managing to create a professional finish. Our design comes in four parts, which are assembled easily using a little hot melted glue.

To achieve the best effect from the raised tiers, three tiers are used.

However, a single or two tier rosette can be made.  To compensate for the angle, a 58mm centre board is used with two tiers, or 68mm with a single tier rosette.

The plastic mouldings are light-weight and when assembled leave a small ridge, making it easy to glue the tiers of ribbon on in a straight line.
