Cut Edge Acetate Satin

Cut edge acetate is the traditional ribbon most commonly used for rosette production. It is a lightweight fabric that is easy to cut and pleats very well.
The ribbon has one smooth satin surface and a dull reverse.

Acetate makes a lovely rosette, but the ribbons with bound edges are increasingly popular and taking a larger market share year on year.

Own Brand Woven Edge Satin

Our own brand woven edge ribbon is made from nylon. It is heavier weight fabric that pleats very well. The ribbon has one smooth satin surface and a
dull reverse.

The sheen on this ribbon makes a rosette look special. If you want to make rosettes that stand out from the crowd give this a try.

The bound edge helps to hold a nice box pleat shape and the ribbon can give a look very similar to the Elizabethan ruffle (Box 3) using the number two (Box 2).

Polyester Woven Edge Satin

Double faced polyester pleats beautifully, and the smooth surface takes hot stamping foil better than other fabrics.

Beautiful rosettes that have an expensive look can be made with this ribbon. You need to be able to achieve a premium price from your customer to justify its use.

American Acetate Ribbon
